University services
To make your time in France and at CIDEF a success, a number of support services are available within the university.
University library
The university library holds numerous novels by French and non-native French writers, language textbooks and other French learning materials (test preparation manuals, grammar textbooks, etc.) as well as CDs or DVDs that can be borrowed.

Housing services
Should you have any difficulty finding accommodation or simply need answers to your questions, the university Housing Services can help you. It is located in the bâtiment Jeanneteau building.
Further information: if you enrol on a one-year programme, you may ask for a housing allowance (called “APL”) from the CAF ? the national French office for family allowances.
To complete your demand, you will have first to validate your visa.
Just fill in the online application form available on the CAF website. The Housing services can help you with this procedure.

Health service
The university has a health service located in the Jeanneteau building.

Cultural department
The university cultural department offers numerous events throughout the year: exhibitions, concerts, plays, trips to discover the regional heritage.

Reprographic services
Several photocopiers are available in the main library, the Bazin building lobby, or the photocopy department. You may also send prints commands from any university PC.

Catering on campus
A cafeteria, the S'Pace Rabelais, welcomes students from 11am to 2pm, Monday to Friday (except on public holidays).
Self-service takeaway sales (salads, sandwiches, pasta, quiches, burgers, drinks), a Cafet' area, various catering areas (traditional, lounge area, terrace) and a space for relaxation and collaborative and connected work.
It is accessible to people with reduced mobility.
WIFI available on the ground floor and 1st floor.
Payment by credit card (no cash) or with the Izly account activated on the student card.
Drink and food vending machines can be found in the main lobby of the Bazin building and the Cidef student lounge (called “foyer”).
